The students in Mrs. Bird’s PK4 class have been learning about dinosaurs. The students made their own Dinosaur Eggs that just hatched Thursday, revealing a baby dinosaur inside. The children learned all about the paleontologists that dig for dinosaur bones and fossils. They were able to experience the sticky tar pit, dinosaurs frozen in the ice, and even exploding volcanoes. The students did some dinosaur digging of their own, first layering rock, sand, dirt, and mud, and then digging through those layers to find dinosaur bones.
