PE/Health Teacher (PK4-8th grade) – Full Time: This position employs a variety of instructional aides, methods, and materials that will provide for creative teaching to reach the whole child, while integrating biblical principles and the Christian worldview throughout. Bachelor’s degree from and accredited postsecondary institution required. Eligible for state and ACSI certification required. Art Teacher (10-month) 2017-2018 School Year — Seeking a part-time art teacher to work with K-12 students and help them discover and develop their talents and abilities in the field of art. The teacher will instruct students in skills and techniques of artistic expression consistent with school curriculum guidelines. Must be available to teach an average of three classes per day, MondayFriday from 11:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts is preferred or a Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of teaching is required.  ACS requires its employees to be Christians, living their lives as Christian role models.  Spiritual standards must be met and a background check is required. School Bus Driver (10-month) 2017-2018 School Year — Seeking a part-time school bus driver to  transport school-aged children, during school and after school, on field trips, to athletic and extra-curricular activities, and other special events. Some occasional evenings, as assigned. Must possess a current State of New Jersey CDL license — Class B with P & S endorsement and air brake endorsement. High School Language Arts Teacher – 2017-2018 School Year
Seeking a full-time High School Language Arts teacher. The Language Arts teacher will utilize a variety of instructional aides, methods, and materials to provide a creative teaching strategy to reach the whole child, while integrating biblical principles and the Christian worldview throughout.  Bachelor’s degree in Language Arts from an accredited post-secondary institution with experience in high school Language Arts required. Experience teaching AP level courses and eligibility for state and ACSI certification required. ACS requires its employees to be Christians, living their lives as Christian role models. Communications Assistant – (Part-Time) — 2017-2018 School Year
The Development Office Administrative Assistant assists the Director of Development and Communication with the communication, marketing, and photographic needs of the school. Strong knowledge and experience in graphic design, web page design, and newswriting/journalism required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited post secondary institution preferred. A strong proficiency in Photoshop, Word Press, Mail Chimp, and Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) preferred. Must be available Mondays-Fridays, with occasional evening hours.  ACS requires its employees to be Christians, living their lives as Christian role models. Flex Aides – Flex Aides are needed for preschool classrooms.  Hours are flexible, anytime between 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. High school diploma and experience with young children preferred. Must be a minimum of 18 years old.  ACS requires its employees to be Christians, living their lives as Christian role models. Spiritual standards must be met and a background check is required. Extended Care Workers – Extended Care Workers supervise students from grades K-5 or 6-12 from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm on school days. High school diploma required. Substitute Teachers – Elementary and Upper School – Substitutes for K through 12th grade classes are needed.  Certified teachers with a degree are preferred.  Minimum of 60 credits required.  ACS requires its employees to be Christians, living their lives as Christian role models.
