Fellowship of Christian Athletes
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is an international sports ministry whose vision is to “impact the world for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.” Atlantic Christian School is pleased to partner with FCA in reaching its campus and the local community for Christ.
The FCA “Campus Huddle” at ACS is where athletes from all sports come together for Bible study, fellowship, encouragement, and to discover ways to honor God through sports. The Campus Huddle at ACS is initiated and led by student athletes and meets Thursdays during lunch.
The “Character Coach/Team Chaplain” ministry occurs when a volunteer comes alongside a team during the season and develops relationships with the players, teaches character and leadership principles, and often gives pre-game talks and leads voluntary prayer. The following teams have Character Coaches: Varsity Girls’ Soccer – Pam Hitchner.
Atlantic Christian School also partnered with FCA in the summer of 2013 to host its first annual local youth sports camp.

The goal of the Missions Club is to be used by God to fulfill the Great Commission. Members of the club, which is open to students in grades 9-13, show the love of Christ through serving others both here and afar. The club conducts local ministry, such as food and coat drives, and has worked with the elementary students to fill and send shoe boxes to the needy all over the world. The club members have traveled to the Dominican Republic and Jamaica to build homes for needy families, to do children’s ministry, and to share the gospel with all who we meet.

Servant’s Heart Club
“Not with eye service, such as men pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.” –Ephesians 6:6
Serving Others…Serving God
The Servant’s Heart Club is an after-school activity designed to foster a love for serving others, teaching children to serve God with all of their heart and to cultivate unity at ACS. All interested 2nd through 8th grade students are invited to participate in the club. In addition to doing various service activities, there is a time for fellowship and games that help build unity within the student body. High school students interact with the younger students while running the meeting.
Service activities that the club has conducted include: making snack bags and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the Atlantic City Rescue Mission, wrapping Christmas boxes for Operation Christmas Child, planting trees and promoting recycling on Earth Day, and making salvation friendship bracelets to be gifted to children in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
