Busing, Lunch, Extended Care

Bus Transportation

May be provided by local boards of education, based on budget and ridership issues, for those living more than 2 miles, but less than 20 miles from school. If a bus is not provided, parents are entitled to a payment in lieu of transportation from their local board of education. Extended Care

Extended Care is available before school (from 7:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m.) and after school (from 3:30-5:30 p.m.) to all enrolled students for an hourly fee of $5.25 per hour.   A paid staff member oversees Extended Care and snacks are provided. Parents must prepay online through RenWeb for extended care services used on a regular basis. Please fill out the Extended Care Registration Form and return it to Nancy Peterson.

Lunch

Students may bring their own lunch or purchase lunch from the school. Microwaves are available for students to use.  Hot and cold lunches are available at a cost of $5.00 for a complete meal.  Parents must order lunches online through RenWeb and pay in advance online with a credit card or eCheck.  There is an additional fee if the lunch is ordered in homeroom.

On Monday through Thursday, students may choose the featured “Entree of the Day”  or a complete salad, sandwich or rice bowl meal. Friday’s menu is limited to pizza or salad meals. Snacks and drinks can also be purchased from vending machines.
