Please share the website link – WWW.RACE4ED.COM/ACS, with family and friends and help us reach and exceed our goal of $45,000 to support our educational programs and activities this year.

Sponsors can give any amount, but if they donate $50 or more, a special Race sneaker sign with the sponsor’s name and the name of the student they are sponsoring will be posted on a school hallway wall and in a classroom as a sign of support.

Donors can also be a “Classroom Sponsor” (for a gift of $200) or an “Event Sponsor” (for a gift of $400). Individual yard signs with the names/logos of Classroom and Event sponsors will be placed around the edge of the track on Race Day to encourage all of our runners. In addition, the names/logos of our “Event Sponsors” will go on a banner hung at the school for the week prior to and on Race Day.

Here is a list of the individual student and classroom prizes for this year’s race:

Students from preschool to the 8th grade participated in our 20th annual Race for Education on Friday, October 28, 2022 and helped raise $43,047 for the ACS Annual Fund. We reached and exceeded our goal of $40,000 with the support of 18 Event Sponsors, a record number of 38 Classroom Sponsors, over 250 Sneaker Sponsors, and several hundred other donors. Thank you to every donor, our students and their families, teachers, staff, and volunteers for making our fall fundraiser a success.

Throughout Race Day,  students in various grade-level groups walked, ran, or jogged around our track for a 30-minute period, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Donors gave various amounts, but if they donated $50 or more, a special Race sneaker sign with the sponsor’s name and the name of the student they were sponsoring was posted on a school hallway wall and in the student’s classroom as a sign of support. Donors who gave a gift of $200 became Classroom Sponsors and donors who gave $400 became Event Sponsors. Individual yard signs with the names of our sponsors were placed around the edge of the track on Race Day to encourage our runners. In addition, an Event Sponsor Banner was hung over the entrance to our main school building on Race Day and remained there for several weeks.

Thank You to Our 2022 Race Volunteers

A dedicated team of parents and grandparents served as Race volunteers and helped make the event a success. Some served as lap counters, others helped place the sponsor yard signs along the track,  and others worked the popcorn and hot chocolate stations. A special thank you to all the parents that donated their time to capture the fun and excitement of the Day as volunteer photographers.  .
