(2 of 2) Congratulations, Future Class of 2030!

Atlantic Christian School celebrated our 8th-grade students last night, June 11, during the 8th Grade Blessing Ceremony in the ACS gym. It was a special evening recognizing their many accomplishments and celebrating this important milestone as they prepare to move on to high school.

Chief School Administrator Mrs. Karen Oblen welcomed everyone, and several 8th-grade students led the crowd in the pledges and prayer. Faculty members Mr. George Dickson and Mrs. Laura Mills shared words of encouragement and blessing, and High School Valedictorian Elliot Parker gave an inspiring message, challenging the students to make the most of their high school years. High School Principal Mrs. Gail Alford offered closing remarks. The Upper School Choir sang before Dean of Students Mr. Christian Delacruz closed the ceremony in prayer.

We are so proud of each of our 8th-grade students and all they have accomplished. We look forward to seeing all that God has planned for you in high school. Congratulations, future Class of 2030!

Yesterday, we had the joy of honoring our teachers and volunteers during a special Teacher and Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon.

We are so thankful for the many volunteers who faithfully give their time and talents to help Atlantic Christian School flourish. Their service is a blessing to our students, staff, and school community.

We also recognized our dedicated teachers and staff who have served at ACS for 10 years or more. Their commitment, faithfulness, and love for our students have made a lasting impact.

A special congratulations to:

10 Years or More: George Dickson, Dena Johnson, Jessica Martin, Karen Fosbenner, Amy Williams, Cookie Chambers, Kelly Flynn, Morgan Gibson, Patti Scardilli, Colleen Winkel, Drew Carney, and Dave Genter

15 Years or More: Robin Genter, Dara Kimmerley, Barb Harmon, and Julie Reilly

20 Years or More: Gail Alford, Anne Block, Teresa Bird, and Sara Coates

30 Years or More: Karen Oblen

We also took time to pray over the teachers and staff who are leaving ACS, asking God to guide and bless them in their next season.

We are grateful for the Lord’s faithfulness and for the people He has placed at ACS to serve, lead, teach, and encourage our students each day. Thank you to all who make ACS such a special place. 💚

(3 of 3) Celebrating the ACS Class of 2026! 🎓

Atlantic Christian School held its 33rd Commencement Ceremony last night, honoring our seniors as they received their diplomas and marked this important milestone.

Several seniors opened the program by leading worship, setting a meaningful tone for an evening filled with encouragement from God’s Word, reflection, and gratitude for all the Lord has done in the lives of these students.

ACS is thankful for the messages shared by Valedictorian Elliot Parker, Salutatorian Gabriella Goodwin, and Pastor Urick Lewis, as well as the closing prayer led by Board Chair Damien Correa.

The Class of 2026 has currently been offered more than $1,714,000 in scholarship awards from the colleges and universities to which they have applied.

We praise God for each graduate and pray He continues to guide their steps as they begin this next chapter.

Please join ACS in congratulating the Class of 2026!

Today we congratulate Caden Kim who graduates having been at ACS for all 13 years, K-12. In addition to succeeding academically, Caden has been an important part of the ACS' basketball program hitting a major milestone this year, scoring his 1000th point. Caden also recently received the Offensive MVP for Varsity Basketball and the 2026 Billy Robinson award named after an outstanding ACS alumnus.

Caden's favorite verse is Isaiah 26:3, "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you". "This verse has helped me remember to keep my mind stayed on the Lord, and He will give me peace in every circumstance," Caden stated.

Caden will be attending Stockton University to study computers and technology. Caden, as you go to college, we pray that you constantly stay grounded on the firm foundation you received at ACS. Keep seeking the Lord in all you do and keep using your gifts to honor Him. We look forward to seeing where the Lord takes you.
