A Shadow Day Visit is an excellent way for a prospective student to experience what ACS has to offer and to get better acquainted with our programs and curriculum. The Shadow Day experience is open to students in the 6th-11th grades. Students who shadow are partnered with an ACS student in their grade level and will follow a regular class schedule.
Registration is required for a Shadow Day visit and space is limited. Visits are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. For the 2023-2024 school year, the following dates are designated for Shadow Day visits:

How do I schedule a Shadow Day Visit for my child?
Shadow Days are scheduled by our Admissions Director Jessica Martin. Please click on the button above to complete and submit your Shadow Day Registration Form.
Where and when do I bring my child the day he/she is shadowing?
ACS is located at 391 Zion Road in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Please enter at the main school entrance and go to the school office. Check-in for Shadow Day students is 8:15 a.m. You are free to park anywhere in the school parking lot. Handicapped parking is available.
What should my child wear to shadow?
ACS students wear khakis (pants, shorts, or skorts), a uniform polo, and closed-toe shoes. We request that our shadow students dress similarly.
Will lunch be provided?
A hot lunch is served daily and ACS will provide your child with a complimentary lunch. Your child will be able to make a lunch selection at check-in. If your child has specific food allergies, please feel free to pack a lunch.
What should my child bring to Shadow Day?
Your child should bring a water bottle, notebook, pen, and a pencil.
Where and when should I pick my child up at the conclusion of Shadow Day?
Plan to pick up your child from the school office at 3:00 p.m.
