The Atlantic Christian School varsity cheerleading team has once again proven their excellence on the mat, dominating the competition at the Cheer and Dance Extreme First State Open this past Saturday, March 23rd held at the University of Delaware. With determination, the talented team secured not only the 1st place title in their division but also claimed the distinguished 1st place Grand Champions trophy amongst all school teams, surpassing a field of nine opponents. Furthermore, their win has earned them a full paid bid to Nationals in National Harbor, Maryland, where they will represent our school on April 13-14. Congratulations to the entire team, including Haven Sanchez (12th), Rebecca DiMaio (11th), Grace Johnson (11th), Ava Barberio (10th), Sophia Whitehurst (10th), Tara McCorkle (10th), Mackenzie Flynn (9th), Kylie Jackson (9th), Annalena DiMaio (9th), Ashlee Alford (9th), Abby Kelley (9th), Bryce Mooney (9th), Chelsie Richards (8th), and Emily Johnson (7th), for their outstanding achievement!
