Last Friday, May 8, Atlantic Christian School hosted the ACS Legacy Gala at the beautiful Linwood Country Club. Approximately 120 guests attended the special evening, which celebrated God’s faithfulness to ACS and raised support for the mission of Christian education.

Through the generosity of our ACS community, the Gala has already raised over $50,000 for Atlantic Christian School, with donations still continuing to come in. We praise the Lord for His provision and are deeply thankful for everyone who helped make the evening such a success.

Guests enjoyed an evening filled with fellowship, worshipful music, meaningful testimonies, and a celebration of 55 years of God’s faithfulness to Atlantic Christian School. Special performances were presented by the Upper School Choir, senior Jordan Styer, junior Ethan Warren, and special music guest Nic Brookes. The evening concluded with a special time of worship as attendees joined together to give God the glory for all He has done.

Pastor Matthew Maher, Grant Kelly, and Kris Jacoby shared meaningful remarks during the evening, and Damien Correa opened the Gala in prayer. Long-time donor Amy McCloy-Miles shared a heartfelt testimony about why she continues to faithfully support ACS, while senior Shelby Ruffin shared how Atlantic Christian School has impacted and changed her life.

Guests also enjoyed the Silent Auction, fellowship opportunities, and a fun photo booth experience provided by Maverick Photo Studio. Praise God, the Silent Auction alone brought in approximately $16,000 for the school.

During the evening, ACS also presented the Servant’s Heart Award to Chris Loeb (not present), Michael and Kelly Flynn, Barbara Freeman, and Pastor Matthew Maher in recognition of their faithful service, generosity, and support of Christian education.
