On May 2, ACS students joined thousands of students across the country in observing the National Day of Prayer. At the Upper School Chapel, Pastor Tim Merlino encouraged students to pray continuously. He quoted Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Students gathered in groups to pray for our government, military, lost souls, family, media, business, education, the next generation, Israel, Missions, and the Church.
