Last Monday, June 10, Atlantic Christian School came together in the Multi-Purpose Room to say a big thank you to our amazing volunteers, faculty, and staff for their hard work this school year. The annual Thank-You Lunch was a chance to honor their dedication and reflect on everything they’ve done for our school community.

Our volunteers have been incredible, whether they were helping out in the lunchroom, supporting the Parent-Teacher Fellowship board, selling snacks in the Cougar Den, assisting in the Library, or pitching in at our Race for Education and Cougar Classic fundraisers. Their efforts truly make ACS a special place.

We also took a moment to bid farewell to some beloved faculty and staff members who are moving on to new adventures outside of ACS. Elementary Principal Gail Alford gave each departing employee a personalized framed word art piece, filled with kind words from their colleagues about their strengths and qualities.

Among the teachers honored at the lunch were Grace Staples, Josh Clark, Dan Vasquez, Terralyn Hayes, Audra Williams, Linda Stiteler, Evelyn Altier, and Olivia Leach. They’ve made a lasting impact on our school, and we’ll miss them dearly.

The event highlighted the strong sense of community at ACS, where every person’s contribution helps create a supportive environment for learning. As we look forward, we’re grateful for our volunteers and staff who continue to inspire us and shape the future of our school.
