Our Early Education students delighted family and friends with a special Christmas concert on Thursday, December 12. The event began with Mrs. Teresa Bird, Early Education Director, reading the poem “Let’s Dress Up for Christmas” by Cathy Skogen-Soldner, which beautifully told the story of Jesus’ birth. As she read, PreK students from each class came out dressed as people from the Christmas story—Mary, Joseph, the three kings, angels, and animals.
Seventh grader Megan Connolly performed “The Christmas Song” as a special number. Throughout the program, students from PreK-2 to PreK-4 sang and danced to a variety of Christmas carols.
