ACS is excited to share the launch of our Costume Rental Program, offering schools, theaters, dance companies, and churches the opportunity to rent from our growing collection of costumes for local productions.

Over the past several years, ACS has earned a reputation for high-quality drama productions like Beauty and the Beast, Willy Wonka, Peter Pan, Seussical, and Elf—thanks in large part to the creative costume designs led by Rhapsody Hahn-Chaney, who also serves as a technology teacher and mock trial coach.

Hahn-Chaney organized, cataloged, and photographed the entire costume collection, using skills she learned in her first job at a public library to build a user-friendly and scalable inventory system. Many of the costumes were designed and sewn by students in Grades 3-12 through electives and after-school workshops.
A dedicated climate-controlled storage space was also recently built on campus, led by Facilities Manager John Walley, to support the rental program and preserve the costumes long-term.

Proceeds from the rentals will go directly to support the ACS Drama Department, helping us continue to grow and maintain this creative resource.
