ACS honored the 49 students finishing 8th grade at a Blessing Ceremony on June 10th. Middle School Math teacher Mr. George Dickson made the students laugh while spurring them on for their future while Computer teacher Mrs. Rhapsody Hahn-Chaney personally addressed the students, acknowledging their strengths and how they can use them. ACS’ 2025 Valedictorian Sophia Johnson shared her wisdom as an Upperclassman giving encouragement to the upcoming group of high schoolers.
The students also received their Academic Awards, National and Presidential Fitness Awards as well the Compass and Citizenship Awards which are given for service and character.
It was a special night of celebration  We are proud of our 8th graders and pray God’s continued guidance for them as they enter the new challenges of High School.
