On December 5, Atlantic Christian School hosted One Christmas Night, a wonderful evening that brought our school community together to celebrate the Christmas season. We are grateful for all the families who came out and spent the night with us.
The fourth grade played recorders while reciting Scripture between numbers. Fifth graders impressed the audience with their ukulele performances. The Upper School Choir and High School Instrumental Class also shared both group and individual pieces. Out front of the school, the Middle School and High School Worship Teams added to the Winter Festival atmosphere with live music.
One Christmas Night also gave students the opportunity to help raise funds for their groups. The Varsity Girls Basketball Team sold s’mores, the Cheer Team offered baked goods, and members of the Missions Team sold baked goods, chicken fingers, hot dogs, and jewelry to raise funds for their upcoming trip to Belize this April.
The event also featured activities for all ages, including Christmas movies, inflatables, hayrides, pony rides, a petting zoo, a magic show, a balloon artist, and a teen zone. Families enjoyed spending time together and taking part in the many fun experiences offered throughout campus.
We are thankful for our students who performed, the vendors who offered gifts and treats, and the many staff members and volunteers who helped make the evening run smoothly. Your time and service made this night possible.
As we celebrate Christmas, we rejoice in the birth of Jesus Christ and the hope He brings. May His love and truth shine brightly in your homes this season.
