(4 of 4) What a special evening at our ACS “Be The Light” Talent Show! Twenty students shared their God-given talents through music, dance, and comedy. Each performance reflected creativity, courage, and a heart to honor the Lord.

The night opened with all contestants joining the Middle School Choir for “This Is Me” and ended with the powerful song “Champion.” 8th grader, Ella Henigan, gave a special violin performance of “What Was I Made For?” just before the winners were announced.

Thank you to our hosts, Mrs. Kelly Flynn and Mrs. Deana Farrell, and to our judges—Kira Murdoch, Krista Redding, and Mary Roesch—for their time and support.

Congratulations to all of our participants and to this year’s winners:

Elementary Winners
🥇 Ivory Hosey – Guitar Medley
🥈 Brooklyn Bynum – “Holy Ballin’”
🥉 Nora Wigglesworth – “Unwritten”

Upper School Winners
🥇 Layla Aspenberg & Eliana Jones – Dance Medley
🥈 Ashlee Alford – “The Moment I Chose Him”
🥉 Sophia Fireall – “All I Want”

Special Awards
Peer Award (chosen by the performers) – Layla Aspenberg & Eliana Jones
Best Instrument – Sienna Heilman (Flute)
Best Comedy – Sean Connolly

We are grateful for each student who stepped on stage. It was a night that clearly showcased the many talents God has given our students.

We are grateful for each student who stepped on stage. It was a night that clearly showcased the many talents God has given our students.

(1 of 4) What a special evening at our ACS “Be The Light” Talent Show! Congratulations to all of our participants and to this year’s winners: Elementary Winners 🥇 Ivory Hosey – Guitar Medley 🥈 Brooklyn Bynum – “Holy Ballin’” 🥉 Nora Wigglesworth – “Unwritten” Upper School Winners 🥇 Layla Aspenberg & Eliana Jones – Dance Medley 🥈 Ashlee Alford – “The Moment I Chose Him” 🥉 Sophia Fireall – “All I Want” Special Awards Peer Award (chosen by the performers) – Layla Aspenberg & Eliana Jones Best Instrument – Sienna Heilman (Flute) Best Comedy – Sean Connolly We are grateful for each student who stepped on stage. During Spring Break, our High School Missions Team traveled to Corozal, Belize for a week of service and ministry, led by Mr. Dave Genter. A group of 25 students and four chaperones had the opportunity to serve together and connect with the local community.

Each day, the team led a Vacation Bible School for nearly 100 children. Through songs, games, Bible lessons, and small groups, they built relationships and shared God’s love in a meaningful way.

The group also helped with construction projects for local churches and community buildings, delivered food, and visited homes to encourage families with the hope of the Gospel.

This trip was a special experience for everyone involved. It gave students the opportunity to serve others, grow in their faith, and see how God is working beyond their own community.

Please continue to pray for the people of Belize and for the lasting impact of this trip.

Today we congratulate Isaac Kelley who has attended ACS since 6th grade. While at ACS Isaac has been very active in athletics. This year, he was one of the Captains of the Varsity Soccer team as well as voted to the Jersey United All Star team. An avid fan/participant in our annual Volleyball tournament, this was the year that Isaac's Block Party team took home the crown!! In addition, Isaac was voted this year's Homecoming King by the student body.

Isaac's favorite verse is James 1:2-4 "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." Isaac says, "I love this verse because when I face hard times it is a reminder to count it all joy and keep that joyful mindset which makes the hard time miles easier."

Isaac would like to run his own business in the future and plans to pursue business or electrical after leaving ACS. Isaac, your Christian character has been a shining light to the students and teachers during your time at ACS. We pray that light will continue to shine bright, reflecting your joyful mindset, and leading others towards the Lord. We can't wait to see where He takes you!
