Looking for money to pay for college? The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the key to getting free federal financial aid to help pay for college. If you are the parent of a student in the 11th or 12th grades, you can learn all about the FAFSA at our free FAFSA Workshop on Thursday, October 22 at 6 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room.
Guidance Counselor Christina Ragland said the workshop is open to parents of juniors and seniors and students can attend if accompanied by a parent. Parents are encouraged to pre-register by October 20 if they plan to attend. CLICK HERE to register or email Mrs. Ragland at cragland@acseht.org.
Mr. Michael Whiting from the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority will be facilitating the workshop and answering questions. If your son or daughter is planning to pursue a certificate program, a two-year college degree program, or a four-year college degree program, you should attend this workshop to learn what you need to know to complete the FAFSA and other financial aid forms. The FAFSA is also required for most types of financial aid, including scholarships.
