Today we wrap up our 2026 Senior Spotlight by honoring Stephanie Valdes who has been an ACS student for 10 years. While at ACS, Stephanie played soccer including serving as a Varsity Captain this year and being awarded the Christian Leadership Award for the Girls' Soccer team. In her Senior year, Stephanie also served in Belize with the ACS Missions Team, was a Student Ambassador and was voted to the Homecoming Court.

Stephanie's favorite verse is Philippians 4:13 which says "I can do all this through Him who gives me strength." Stephanie says, "This verse has helped me set a mindset that I should not give up and that I can do everything with God by my side. This verse has helped me throughout my whole life."

Stephanie will be heading to Atlantic Cape Community College and study Health Science. Stephanie, we love your heart for service and pray that God will continue to use that as you serve others in the Health field. Keep looking to the Lord for your strength and direction!

Today we congratulate Jordyn Styer who chose to spend her Senior year at ACS. Although only here for one year, Jordyn made a big impact, especially in the arts. Jordyn was a lead in both drama productions this year playing Mother Abbess in the Sound of Music and then Mrs. William Bradford in the Venture of 1620. Jordyn had other opportunities to sing solos, duets and with the Upper School Choir while at ACS. She also appeared as Elsa from Frozen at One Christmas Night. In addition to singing and acting and serving in the National Honor Society, Jordyn received highest honors this academic year and was voted Prom Queen by her peers.

Jordyn's favorite verse is 1 Peter 4:19, "So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right, and trust your lives to the God who created you, for He will never fail you." Jordyn shared, "This is a reminder that our miraculous God will always come through for those who persevere through the hurt, as He's done for me more than I can express."

Jordyn will be attending ACCC in the fall through the NJ Stars program and studying nursing. Jordyn, we loved having you at ACS this year and for the impact you made while you were here. We will be praying for you as you focus on a career in serving others; that God will use your sweet and encouraging spirit to bless those He sends in your path.
