Today we start our annual Senior Spotlight to honor this year's graduating class. Each of these students have made an impact on our ACS Community. Please join us in celebrating them! Kendall Bouchard has been an ACS student since 8th grade and is been a member of the first ACS Volleyball team playing libero (defensive player). She also competed in ACS' Track and Field program, running in several events. Kendall has also been an important part of our Drama Department performing lead roles in Beauty and the Beast Jr. and Willy Wonka Jr. She can be seen next as Rafiki in The Lion King Jr next month! Outside of ACS she also has been involved in Show Jumping. Kendall is planning on attending Penn State or Southeastern University to study Nursing. Her favorite verse is Philippians 4:13 which says "I can do all things through Him who gives me strength." Kendall, we are so glad you chose to attend ACS. We pray that as you pursue nursing, you will incorporate your faith with your career and make a big difference for Jesus in the world. #acseht #seniorspotlight #classof2027 #VolleyballLibero @kendallbou_

Science in action—and a little suspense! Students in Mrs. Errickson’s and Mrs. Jackson’s fourth-grade classes had fun exploring kinetic energy through an egg drop experiment! As an egg falls, its stored potential energy changes into kinetic energy—the energy of motion. The faster it falls, the more kinetic energy it has. The big challenge? Helping the egg come to a stop without cracking! This hands-on activity brought science to life with plenty of curiosity, excitement, and smiles. We love seeing our students have fun discovering how God’s world works! #acseht #HandsOnLearning #FourthGradeScience #EggDrop #AtlanticChristianSchool

HONORING AN ACS LEGACY: JERSEY #35 RETIREMENT! A special highlight of ACS Homecoming 2026 was the retirement of basketball jersey #35 in honor of ACS alumna Shereesha Richards Koroma ('12)! The special ceremony took place Friday evening during halftime of the varsity boys soccer game. ACS alumna Jodi Kelley Crane ('10), whose own Varsity Girls' Basketball jersey #5 was retired several years ago, presented Shereesha's jersey in a display case. Joining Shereesha for this memorable occasion were former Athletic Director Pam Hitchner and family; and fellow alumni who knew or played alongside her. During her three years as an All-Star forward at ACS, Shereesha helped lead the Lady Cougars to three Tri-State Christian Athletic Conference championships and two national championships! She continued her outstanding basketball career at Division I University at Albany, where she broke the school's all-time women's basketball scoring and rebounding records and helped lead her team to four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances. She later played professionally in Spain and Australia and represented Jamaica on its Women's National Basketball Team. We are grateful for Shereesha's contributions to ACS athletics and the legacy she has left for future generations of Cougars. Congratulations, Shereesha! Once a Cougar, always a Cougar! 🐾 📸 Enjoy these special moments from the jersey retirement ceremony! #ACSHomecoming2026 #ACSCougars #ACSAthletics #OnceACougarAlwaysACougar #atlanticchristianschool
