On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, the ACS Spelling Team traveled over two hours to compete in the North New Jersey Christian School Association Spelling Contest at Abundant Life Academy.

Two top spelling students per grade (2nd–8th grade) were invited to attend, selected from last year’s Spelling Bee finalists. Students competed against peers from seven other schools and several homeschoolers. The top three students from each grade advanced to the final round.

ACS had two students place in the Top 3 for their grade level and move on to the finals:

  • Caitlin Baron Doucett earned 2nd place overall in 7th grade.
  • Tamara Kulov, 8th grade, finished in 3rd place for her level.

With these strong finishes, Atlantic Christian School placed 3rd overall in the Middle School Division, earning a plaque for the school.

We are proud of all our students who attended, competed, and represented ACS so well at our first spelling event of the year!

Participants:

  • 2nd Grade – Robby Boyer and Roman Woods
  • 4th Grade – Brielle Sabulao
  • 5th Grade – Daniel Awad and Grisha Kagramanov
  • 6th Grade – Rachael Eachus
