Over 500 grandparents visited the ACS Campus on Wed, November 26 for our annual Grandparents’ Appreciation Day. It was a joyful morning filled with worship, special performances and time for the grandparents to spend with their students.
Our Grandparents were treated to a Chapel with the Middle School Worship team leading two songs while the PK4 Classes and Kindergarten Classes performed a song each for the grandparents.
Mrs. Pam Hitcher, current ACS grandparent and retired long-time ACS Basketball Coach and Athletic Director, shared a short message to her fellow grandparents. She shared about her 4 decades in Christian Education and what a gift it is to have your grandchildren at a school like ACS.
The Grandparents were also able to visit the individual classrooms of their Preschool and Elementary students while the Upper School students stayed and played a game of BINGO with their guests. This time is one of the favorite parts of the day!
Thank you so much to all those who attended. It is a wonderful day to honor our Grandparents, spend a little extra time with them and thank them for all their love and support.
