Atlantic Christian School students recently used their creativity and artistic abilities to share the school’s 2026–2027 theme, “ONE,” through our annual Theme Verse Poster Contest.
This year’s theme is based on Philippians 2:2:
“Then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.” —Philippians 2:2 (NIV)
Students were invited to create an original 24-by-36-inch poster featuring the theme, the full theme verse, the Atlantic Christian School name, and the 2026–2027 school year. The contest allowed students to combine art and Scripture while helping share this important message of Christian unity throughout our campus.
Congratulations to 11th-grade student Isabella Merlino, whose design was selected as the winning poster. Isabella will receive an ACS sweatshirt and a gift card in recognition of her winning design. Her artwork is now displayed throughout the school.
Posters created by Sophia Capito, 12th grade; Eliana Rodriguez, 10th grade; and Sophia Fireall, eighth grade, were also selected for display on campus.
We are grateful to every student who participated and shared their original artwork. We hope these meaningful designs encourage our students each day to live in unity and reflect the message of Philippians 2:2.
