Science came to life for students in Mrs. Errickson’s and Mrs. Jackson’s fourth-grade classes as they explored the concepts of potential and kinetic energy through a fun and exciting egg drop experiment!

Students learned how an object’s stored potential energy changes into kinetic energy, or energy of motion, as it falls. The challenge was to find a way to protect a fragile egg from cracking when it hit the ground!

This hands-on STEM experiment gave students the opportunity to see scientific principles in action while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The excitement and suspense of each egg drop made learning even more fun!

At ACS, we love providing opportunities for students to learn through discovery and hands-on experiences while developing a greater appreciation for God’s amazing creation and the science behind how His world works!
