Today we congratulate one of our International students, Ilya Korzun, who is at ACS for his senior year. Originally from Belarus, this is Ilya's second year in the United States. Gifted with computers and programming, Ilya created his own website which sheds light on Belarussian history and politics. Although his plans are not finalized yet, Ilya hopes to stay in the United States for college and study Software Engineering.

While at ACS, Ilya has assisted the Athletic Department with social media and enjoyed playing chess against fellow classmates. He is a student in our Introduction to Education class and works after school in our Early Education program.

Ilya, we are so grateful that your decision to study in the States led you to Atlantic Christian School. We are praying for you as you continue to search for God's will for your school plans for next year. Keep striving to learn more about the Lord and know that He has a plan for you.

Today we congratulate Dylan Katity who has been at ACS for his Junior and Senior year. He is planning on attending Cairn University in the fall and majoring in Accounting.

Dylan's favorite verse is Romans 8:28 which says "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose."

Dylan, we pray you will continue to grow in the Lord as you head off to Cairn University. Remember your teachers who you looked up to and poured into your life. You can do the same for others.

(1 of 2) ACS students and staff gathered today for an all-school Easter Chapel to celebrate Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again to give us salvation and eternal life. The chapel featured performances by students from PreK3, 4th grade, the Elementary Worship Team, and the High School Worship Team. ACS parent Mr. Lee Martin shared a thoughtful message and challenged everyone to truly see Jesus this Easter. Mrs. Genevieve Huff’s Drama Workshop class gave a moving presentation about the distractions that pull us away from a closer relationship with Christ. We also took time to pray over the students who will be going on mission trips during spring break.
