Bus Transportation
May be provided by local Boards of Education, based on budget and ridership issues, for those living more than 2 miles, but less than 20 miles from school. For the 2024-2025 school year, busing is being provided to students who live in Absecon, Northfield, Linwood, Somers Point, and Ocean City. If a bus is not provided, parents are entitled to a payment in lieu of transportation from their local board of education. All parents who have a child enrolled in kindergarten to 12th grade must annually complete a B6T Form and submit it to the school office. The B67 form is available for download from the Family Portal or through the ACS App under Resource Documents.
Extended Care
Extended Care is available before school (from 7:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m.) and after school (from 3:30-5:30 p.m.) to all enrolled students for an hourly fee of $6.50 per hour. A paid staff member oversees Extended Care and snacks are provided. Parents are billed through FACTS for Extended Care services.
Lunch
Students may bring their own lunch or purchase lunch from the school. Microwaves are available in the lunchroom for 6th-12th grade students to use. Elementary students should not bring food items for lunch that need to be microwaved.
Hot and cold lunches are available daily, catered by Towne & Country Cafe in Egg Harbor Township. Parents must order lunches online through FACTS or on the ACS App and pay in advance online with a credit card or eCheck. All lunch orders must be placed online by 3 p.m. on the day prior.
On Monday through Thursday, students may choose the featured “Entree of the Day” or a complete salad, sandwich, or rice bowl meal.
A cheese pizza meal is offered every other Friday and Chick-fil-A sandwiches and nuggets, either purchased individually or as a meal, are offered the other alternating Fridays. Snacks and drinks can also be purchased from vending machines.
During lunch, the PTF sells Philly Pretzels on Mondays for $1 each. These items cannot be ordered or paid through FACTS.
Lunch prices and menus are available on FACTS by going to Student Information > Lunch > Create Web Order > Submit order > Pay. Then you will receive an instant email confirming your order. If you do not receive an email, your order did not go through and you should resubmit.
