Boscov’s Shopping Day — Wednesday, Oct. 20; Buy Your 25% Discount Pass for $5 from ACS

The Boscov’s “Friends Helping Friends” charitable shopping event is just 12 days away — on Wednesday, October 20. Did you buy your special shopping pass yet that will entitle you to a 25% discount for all in-store purchases that day?   If not, you can get your discount pass from the ACS office for just $5 and ACS keeps 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the passes.

Order forms were sent home to elementary students last week and will be sold next week at the afternoon car pick-up line. There is no limit on the number of passes you can purchase. Buy one for yourself and purchase others to give as gifts to family members and friends. You can also purchase a shopping pass by visiting the school office or calling 609-653-1199, ext. 323.

The participating Boscov’s store in Egg Harbor Township will be open for shopping on October 20 from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.  As an added incentive, Boscov’s is locating special Ballot Boxes in every  store. Customers can fill out the bottom portion of their Shopping Pass, tear it off, and drop it in the Ballot Box. One customer from each store will receive a $100 Boscov’s Gift Card.

Thank you for supporting ACS with this shopping opportunity and please encourage your family members and friends to participate as well.

ACS Annual Fund and Missions Club Receive Donations from Boscov’s Fall “Friends Helping Friends” Event

Thank you to our school family and friends who participated in the Boscov’s “Friends Helping Friends” charitable shopping event in October 2020, which resulted in donations to the ACS Annual Fund and the ACS Missions Club.

Boscov’s recently donated $289.27 to the ACS Annual Fund, which represented 5% of the total purchases made by shoppers on October 14 and 15.  Shoppers who mentioned the ACS Missions Club as their charity resulted in Boscov’s donating $87.47  for the Club. The donation checks were received in late January 2021.

Boscov’s reported that the fall 2020 event raised over $500,000 to give back to some 3,900 non-profit organizations that participated in the fundraiser. This was the 24th year that Boscov’s has sponsored this event as a way to help non-profits in the communities where its stores are located.
