ACS Varsity Basketball Wraps Up a Strong Season

It was a great season for Atlantic Christian School basketball, and our teams gave us a lot to be thankful for!

Girls Varsity — Third in the League

Our ACS Girls Varsity team competed in the Jersey United League and finished third. They closed out the league with a consolation win over King’s Christian Knights, 45-31. Well done, ladies!

Boys Varsity — League Champions, Again!

Our ACS Boys Varsity team won the Jersey United Christian Athletic Conference Tournament Championship, beating King’s Christian School 49-43. What makes this even more special is that this is their 7th consecutive league tournament championship. What a wonderful achievement!

Jersey United All-Stars

We are so proud of these players who were recognized as Jersey United All-Stars: Gianna Flynn, Caelyn Domsic, Malena Meyer, Caden Kim, Ethan Costello, Justice Settles, and Zion Dawkins. You represented ACS well!

NCSAA Tournament in Ohio

Both teams then traveled to Ohio to compete in the National Christian School Athletic Association Tournament.

Our Girls team had a strong run, finishing 4th in Division 5A. Their final game was a tough one, falling to Central Christian by just two points, 35-33.

Our Boys team reached the Division 3 Championship game, where they fell to SPIRE Academy (OH), 82-57, earning 2nd place in Division 3. Reaching the national championship game is something to be very proud of!

NCSAA All-Tournament Honors

Congratulations to Caden Kim, Zion Dawkins, and Gianna Flynn for being named to the NCSAA All-Tournament Teams. What an honor!

Thank you to our coaches, players, families, and everyone who cheered our teams on this season. We give thanks to God for a wonderful season and for the character these student-athletes showed on and off the court. Go Cougars!

ACS Varsity Boys Basketball Team Wins NCSAA Division 5 National Championship

We are excited to celebrate a major achievement by our ACS Varsity Boys Basketball Team, who brought home the National Christian School Athletic Association (NCSAA) Division 5 Championship title!

The team traveled to Ohio to compete in the 2025 NCSAA National Basketball Tournament and played with heart, skill, and determination to earn the top spot in their division.

Over the course of the tournament, the ACS Varsity Boys Basketball Team faced tough competition and secured three impressive wins:

Atlantic Christian School def. Crawford Christian (PA) – 68-36
Atlantic Christian School def. Kankakee Trinity Academy (IL) – 71-50
Atlantic Christian School def. Genoa Christian (OH) – 64-56

Each game highlighted the team’s strong defense, sharp shooting, and teamwork as they advanced through the bracket and ultimately claimed the championship.
