“See You at the Pole” (SYATP) is an annual event where students, parents, and community members gather around their school’s flagpole to pray for their school, classmates, teachers, and the world. The event began in 1990 with a small group of students in Texas who wanted to pray for their school. Since then, it has grown into a nationwide movement involving thousands of schools across the United States and even internationally. SYATP emphasizes student-led prayer and worship, fostering a sense of community and spiritual growth among participants.
