We are excited to announce that on Friday, October 25, 2024, Atlantic Christian School will host its ACS Race for Ed. fundraiser! This annual event brings together students from PK2 through 12th grade to raise funds in support of our school’s educational programs, all while having fun and enjoying some friendly competition. Our goal this year is to raise $45,000, and with your support, we can make it happen!
How It Works
During the ACS Race for Ed., students will walk or jog around the school track as many times as possible in a 30-minute period. Each student is encouraged to raise sponsorships by asking family, friends, and neighbors to donate. Every donation is tax-deductible and will go directly toward supporting Atlantic Christian School.
In addition to helping the school, students will have the chance to win some exciting prizes based on the amount of funds they raise!

Make an Impact – Sponsorship Opportunities:
We are offering several sponsorship levels to encourage participation and support from the community. Each sponsor will be recognized in a special way!
- Cougar Poster Sponsor ($25): A Cougar Paw Poster with your name and the student’s name will be displayed in the main hallway and the student’s classroom.
- Sneaker Poster Sponsor ($50): A Sneaker Poster with your name and the student’s name will be displayed in the main hallway and the student’s classroom.
- Classroom Sponsor ($250): Your name/logo will appear on a yard sign with the class you’re sponsoring, placed around the track on Race Day.
- Event Sponsor ($450): Your name/logo will appear on a yard sign and a large banner at the campus entrance the week before and on Race Day.
Get Involved – Spread the Word:
We need everyone’s help to reach our goal of $45,000! Here are a few easy ways to spread the word and get others involved:
- Email or Text: Reach out to family and neighbors to support your child in the ACS Race for Ed.
- Social Media: Share your child’s donation link on Facebook or Instagram, and include a fun photo or video of them preparing for the race!
- Personal Outreach: Ask your workplace, church, or local businesses if they’d like to sponsor your student or the event.
Student Prizes:
We are offering a range of exciting prizes to motivate students and thank them for their fundraising efforts.
- Cougar Paw Poster: Students who raise $25 or more will receive a Cougar Paw Poster with their name and the donor’s name, displayed on a school bulletin board.
- Race Sneaker Poster: Students who raise $50 or more will receive a Sneaker Poster with their name and the donor’s name, displayed on a school bulletin board.
- Lap Winner Certificates: Awarded to the boy and the girl in each class who complete the most laps.
- Dress Down Day or Snack Pass: Students who raise at least $75 in donations will enjoy a Dress Down Day or Snack Pass.
- Amazon $15 Gift Card Prize: Awarded to the student in each grade who raised the most money.
- Student Grand Prize: The student who raises the most money overall (minimum of $500 with at least 3 donors) will choose between a Storybook Land Season Pass, Wireless Headphones (Beats Studio 3 or JBL 770NC equivalent), or Nike Green & White Dunk Low Sneakers (approx. $200 value).
Class Prizes:
- Class Grand Prize: The class that raises the most funds (minimum $1,000 from 3 or more donors) will a fun class outing, choosing between Get Air Trampoline Park or King Pin Bowling.
- Early Ed Class Prize: The Early Ed class that raises the most will enjoy a Build-Your-Own Ice Cream Sundae Party!
- Elementary Class Prize: The winning elementary class will get a Pretzel & Popsicle Party!
- Middle School Class Prize: The winning middle school class will choose between a Walking Taco & Water Ice Party or a Build-Your-Own Ice Cream Sundae Party!
- High School Class Prize: The high school class with the most funds raised will also choose between a Walking Taco & Water Ice Party or a Build-Your-Own Ice Cream Sundae Party!
