The Missions Club would like to thank everyone that purchased a Boscov’s discount shopping coupon! All proceeds are going to help our students raise funds for their upcoming spring trips to Haiti, Nashville, Tennessee, and Coatesville, Pennsylvania.
This week, the Missions Club is kicking off its next phase of fund-raising — selling coffee from the Caribbean, prayer bracelets from the Dominican Republic, and baked goods. From now until early December, Missions Club members will have a table set up at the front entrance of the school at dismissal time on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The coffee is being supplied by Praying Pelican Mission that has helped several Christian coffee farmers in the Caribbean form their own coffee co-op. Purchasing this coffee not only helps ACS missions, but also helps the Caribbean farmers break the cycle of poverty by selling their coffee directly.
