Two 5th grade Worship Teams made their debut at chapels last Friday, enthusiastically leading worship songs with lively choreography. They will continue using their talents each week throughout the school year. Fourteen students, the largest number to date, volunteered to lead worship this year, so two teams were created, one to lead the PreK1-Kindergarten chapel on Fridays at 10 a.m. and the other to lead the 1st-5th grade chapel at 1 p.m. “We were thrilled to see so many students want to serve God in this way and help prepare the hearts of our students to receive the teaching from God’s Word from our chapel speakers,” said faculty member Teresa Bird, who is in her fourth year directing the effort. The members of this year’s teams, who will meet weekly to practice after school (pictured below left) are: Isabell Alford, Simone Bhullar, Bailey Boggs, Rebecca DiMaio, Aine Dorsey, Elana Epps, Macyn Hattman, Nevaeh Johnson, Autumn Loo, Taylor Murphy, Christy Park, Crystal Ramos, Arianna Rivera, and Makayla Tomlinson.
