PreK4B teacher Teresa Bird encouraged students in preschool through kindergarten to “BEE Friendly” to each other, building on this year’s spiritual development theme of “Actions Speak Louder.” Mrs. Bird wore her bumble bee shirt and antenna as she led the Bible lesson. Teachers and aides took turns demonstrating how to act in various situations, such as during snack time and play dough time. The staff members showed the right way to be friendly to another person in contrast with the wrong way. Throughout the school year, the Early Ed and Kindergarten classes will be taking turns presenting the Bible lesson in chapel each Friday.
