Encouraging…respectful…says I’m sorry and thank you — these are just a few of the positive qualities that the students in Mrs. McCarthy’s 3rd grade believe make someone a “great classmate.” Posters promoting these qualities are now hanging in the hallway next to Mrs. McCarthy’s classroom. The students worked in groups on the first day of school to create the “Great Classmate” posters, helping them start off the school year focusing on developing God-honoring character traits.
