The ACS campus was buzzing with activity all summer long as over 100 children from Early Ed to the sixth grade attended our popular, award-winning Early Ed and summer Cougar Camp programs. Cougar Camp Director Dara Kimmerly put together a fun-filled schedule of weekly themed activities. Campers enjoyed field trips to Young’s Skating Center, the Atlantic City Aquarium, the Funny Farm Rescue, and much more. The campers also looked forward each week to spending a day at the lake at nearby Sleepy Hollow Family Campground. Early Education Director and Elementary Principal Gail Alford oversaw the Early Ed summer program.
The summer programs concluded on August 24, with campers performing songs and scripture learned during daily Bible and worship time at a closing program in the gym for family members and friends. Then it was one final afternoon of fun that included enjoying the Big Kahuna water slide and having dessert served up by Paige’s Italian Water Ice. Congratulations to our camp directors and camp counselors for a memorable summer.
