ACS honored its nine senior players on the Varsity Boys’ and Girls’ basketball teams and their parents in a special ceremony on Friday, February 1. The ceremony was held prior to the start of the home games against Cumberland Christian School. Athletic Director Pam Hitchner introduced the team members and read notes of special thanks to each written by Varsity Boys’ Coach Dan Carney and Varsity Girls’ Coach Kaylee Breunig.
The Senior girls honored were: Rebekah Darragh, Lola Oguntuase, and Caraline Winkel. Lola will be attending Thomas Jefferson University in the fall on an athletic and academic scholarship. The Senior boys honored were: Spencer Breunig, Elijah Chapman, Cole Johnson, Franny Johnson, Jacob O’Brien, and Mark Rosie.
