For the past two months, Mr. George Quinn’s ACS Physics and Physical Science classes, with assistance from the Anatomy & Physiology class, have been constructing a playground for a single mom in the area and her little girl. The students applied many of the principles they learned in class while building. They also practiced important organizational skills, operated new tools, and worked together as a team. They applied the teachings of Colossians 3:23, which says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” The playground should be delivered and installed by the beginning of June. We hope that their work will bless this family for years to come!
