Grandparent Appreciation Day at Atlantic Christian School was a special celebration. Over 500 grandparents filled our campus on Wednesday, November 27, spending cherished time with their grandchildren and enjoying a day of fellowship.
The day started with a Chapel program that included performances by the Kindergarten and PreK4 classes and worship led by the Middle School Worship Team. ACS grandparent Lee Goldberg shared a message and performed his original song, “Pebbles in the Sand,” with his granddaughter, sophomore Isabella Santos. Fifth-grade student Barrett Woods closed in prayer.
Early Education and Elementary grandparents also were invited to visit their students’ classrooms and visit the ACS Book Fair. Grandparents of the Upper School students had a light reception in the gym with activities.
We are grateful to all the grandparents who came and shared this meaningful day with us.
