The 2025–26 Atlantic Christian School Mock Trial team wrapped up quite a year! To celebrate their record-breaking season and honor two graduating seniors, the team gathered for a special party hosted by Gennaro and Ashley Basso, parents of team members Justin and Hadley.

The Basso family went above and beyond, surprising the team with embroidered shirts and giving special gifts to teacher-coach Mrs. Rhapsody Hahn-Chaney and attorney-coach Hunter Hurst. It was a warm and memorable evening for everyone involved.

Two seniors were recognized in a special way as they prepare to move on from ACS:

Justin Basso served as a lawyer on the team and competed in Mock Trial for all four years of high school. He has been accepted into a prestigious scholars program at a top university, where he plans to study political science with the goal of attending law school. We have no doubt great things are ahead for Justin!

Gabriella Goodwin has been a lawyer on the team and a steady, dependable presence for the past three years. She will be attending Cairn University to pursue a degree in education. Cairn is a wonderful Christian university and Gabriella will make a fantastic teacher!

We are so proud of both Justin and Gabriella. Their hard work, leadership, and commitment have meant so much to this program and to our school.

A big thank you also goes to our event sponsor, the Police & Fireman Insurance Association, for their generous support of our students.

Congratulations to the entire Mock Trial team on a season to remember!
