The Bible story of a young boy named David who courageously went to battle against the Philistine giant, Goliath, came to life during Early Ed Chapel on Friday, October 11 in a presentation led by the 8th grade students in Miss Dye’s Bible class.
Miss Dye started the program by reading Joshua 1:9 — “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” The 8th graders then re-enacted the story of David and Goliath with costumes and weapons they made themselves.
The Early Ed students from PreK1 through kindergarten listened intently throughout the enjoyable skit and Miss Dye closed the chapel with prayer.
