Last Wednesday, Sept. 27, students, parents, faculty, and staff gathered at the school flagpole for a time of prayer and worship before the start of school, joining thousands of students and teachers from public and private schools across the country in the national “See You at the Pole” event.
ACS’ Biblical Leadership class of High School Juniors and Seniors planned and ran this year’s event. Members of the H.S. Worship team led 3 songs and then each student in the leadership class focused on certain areas for prayer: Politics, Government, School, Missions, Praises, Prayer Requests.
This year’s SYATP theme is based on Jeremiah 29:13: ‘You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
