Congratulations to senior athlete Evangelina Kim on officially signing with Stockton University to continue her softball career! Head Softball Coach Dara Kimmerley shared, “Evangelina is an amazing player with an outstanding work ethic. She is an outstanding leader and loves Jesus with her whole heart! She ended the 2023 softball season with a .651 batting average, 28 hits, 35 runs scored, 42 RBIs, 5 home runs, 6 doubles, 4 triples, and 17 stolen bases. She was named MVP of the Tri-State Christian Athletic Conference for the second year in a row, leading our team to conference championships in the last two years. I am so excited for this upcoming season; Evangelina is only 9 away from reaching 100 hits, so we can’t wait to celebrate that accomplishment with her!” Evangelina also received the 2023 NCSSA Girls Varsity Fast Pitch Softball Small School National Hitter of the Year award.

In addition to her softball achievements, Evangelina is captain of the ACS Girls Varsity Basketball Team and has recently been awarded the National Hispanic Recognition Award by BigFuture 2023 College Board National Recognition Programs.

We’re excited to see her excel in her senior season at ACS and then at Stockton University and are immensely proud of all her accomplishments at ACS. We pray you have a fantastic senior year, Evangelina!
