On March 13, eighteen students showcased their God-given talents at our ACS Be The Light Talent Show, hosted by Mrs. Kelly Flynn and her husband, Michael. Judges Jade and Nic Brookes, Dawson Coyle, and Terralyn Hayes did a great job judging – which is a challenging task since all the students who performed are very talented. Senior Evangelina Kim opened the talent show with “This is Me,” and Senior Ryleigh Martin closed the show with the song “Champion.” The Middle School Worship Team also performed with Mrs. Flynn during intermission. The talent show included singing, acrobatic routines, instrumental performances, and a comedy act.

1st Place: Olivia Moren Owens (3rd Grade) – “Waiting On a Miracle”
2nd Place: Layla Aspenberg and Brianna Shull (5th Grade) – “A Million Dreams”
3rd Place: Addison Rawlings (3rd Grade) – “Hard Knock Life”
Upper School Awards:
1st Place and Grand Prize: Hailey Everland (8th Grade) – “Love Is An Open Door”
2nd Place: Ava Barberio (10th Grade) – “Hold On to Me”
3rd Place: Parker Maxwell (6th Grade) – “These Are the Days”
Thank you to everyone who participated and attended! Around 225 tickets were sold – proceeds of which benefit our Arts Department. Special thanks to the Varsity Cheerleading Team for providing concessions last night, Mr. Lee Martin (Sound and Tech Manager), Mrs. Amy Parker (Choreographer), and to all the volunteers!
