ACS wrapped up another exciting Intramural Basketball season with a wonderful Championship Saturday, February 14.
For six weeks, 1st-5th grade students dedicated Saturday mornings to practicing and learning new skills, and growing as teammates. Thank you to Coaches Dakota and Brenden Keller for faithfully leading the program and investing in our students each week. Their time and commitment made a lasting impact.
Championship games were held in the gym with families filling the bleachers to cheer on the players. The Girls Championship tipped off at 9:00 AM. The Blue Team earned the win under the leadership of Coach Isabella Santos and Assistant Coach Kalee Tardif. The Yellow Team was led by Coach Gianna Flynn and played with great effort.
The Boys Championship followed. The Yellow Team took home the win, led by Coach Ashlee Alford. The Blue Team was coached by Raquel Crespo and competed with determination until the final buzzer.
Thank you to all the families who came out to support the teams and to every student who participated this season. It was a joy to see our future Cougar athletes grow in skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
