ACS high school students recently gathered for a special Re-Engage Spiritual Emphasis Day, a dedicated time set apart for spiritual reflection, worship, and engagement.
The event featured a group of local pastors and community leaders who spoke of the importance of the local chuch. Pastor John Mol of Awaken Community Church, Pastor Ryan Colvin of Hope Community Church, and Pastor Michael Ives of Presbyterian Reformed Church of Corbin City each brought a message to students before all joining a Q&A panel discussion. Pastor Rich Aspenberg of Mission Point Church and Board Member Grant Kelly also participated in the panel, contributing their perspectives to the conversation. During the panel discussion, students had the opportunity to ask questions relating to faith and their church.
Gospel of Grace Church led students in a time of worship throughout the day.
The Re-Engage Spiritual Emphasis Day reflects Atlantic Christian School’s ongoing commitment to the spiritual development of its students and its mission to impact the world for Jesus Christ through education rooted in a biblical worldview.
