Atlantic Christian School hosted a special student performance of The Venture of 1620 on Saturday, April 4.
This meaningful production shared the true story of the Pilgrims’ journey as they fled religious persecution in search of freedom in the New World. Through the lives of William Bradford, William Brewster, and others, the performance highlighted the courage, sacrifice, and faith that helped shape our history.
Students spent the past two months preparing their lines and learning their roles. When The Academy of Arts arrived, students continued working after school for six hours each day for one week. During this time, they not only developed their acting skills but also learned many aspects of producing a show, including costumes, stage makeup, lighting, sound, and set design. Each day also included a Bible study as part of the experience.
Although it was a demanding week, students worked diligently and enjoyed being part of the production.
Congratulations to our student cast and crew for their outstanding performances, and thank you to The Academy of Arts for partnering with ACS to present such a moving and memorable production.
We invite you to enjoy the photos below as we celebrate the efforts of our cast and the success of this special event.
