Thank you to the many parents and other family members who supported the Scholastic Book Fair held this week in the school library by buying books and other educational materials for our students. As of Wednesday, sales had exceeded $4,400, according to Mrs. Gail Alford, the elementary lead teacher who oversaw the Fair. Mrs. Alford said Book Fair sales benefit individual students as well as the school. For every purchase, ACS earns points that can be used to purchase library books, projectors, Ipads, and other technology in our classrooms, subscriptions to Scholastic News for our K-5 classrooms, classroom area rugs, and much more.
Even though the Book Fair will be closed after Friday, shopping online is open until Tuesday, November 22.
