Ready….Set…Run….
Planning is underway for our annual Race for Education fundraiser, which will kick off with information coming home to parents the second week of school. Families with students in preschool through the 8th grade will be asked to participate to help us reach our goal of raising $23,000 from this fun, outdoor event held on our school track.
There will be special prizes that an individual class or individual student can earn. It just requires your participation by providing the names and addresses of people you know who would be willing to make a donation to sponsor your child or children as they run or walk laps around our school track.
Parents — please keep an eye out for an information packet coming home in your child’s folder on Friday, September 15. And mark your calendar for Friday, October 27, from 9:00 a.m.-noon — that’s the date of the Race for Education. We’d love for our families to be there to cheer on the students and to volunteer to help with the Race.
