ACS’s Girls Varsity Soccer team has been making waves this season with a current record of 3-2-1. Their season began with a tough loss 2-0 against Lancaster County School, but they quickly rebounded with an impressive 6-0 victory against Pleasantville High School. This early success demonstrated the team’s resilience and determination to overcome setbacks.
In addition to their local matches, the team also ventured out to Maryland for a challenging tournament. While they took a tough loss in their first game with a score of 7-0, they showcased their fighting spirit by coming back strong in the second game, securing a well-deserved 2-2 tie. In their next game, the team dominated Doane Academy with an incredible 8-1 victory. Their momentum carried into the league opener against Pilgrim Academy, where they secured a solid 2-0 win. As they seek to improve their skills and teamwork, this team will be the one to watch this season.
