Alumni, students, and their families gathered at the ACS campus on Friday, October 13 and Saturday, October 14 for Homecoming 2023.

On Friday, the festivities included a cross-country run, a bonfire, a SpikeBall Tournament, live music, concessions, and Chef Steve’s Food Truck. Seniors Manny Johnson and Rebecca Kelley were crowned Homecoming King and Queen, along with their court: Homecoming Princesses Evangelina Kim and Haven Sanchez, and Homecoming Princes Noah Gibbs and Malachi Vasquez. The King and Queen greeted the crowd, and the ACS cheerleaders added to the excitement by showering confetti into the air as they circled the track on a float adorned with black, green, and white balloons.

Despite the rainy weather on Saturday, we had a great turnout for several soccer games. The day started with middle school soccer games in the morning, followed by the alumni co-ed game and the varsity soccer games. Alumni, alumni parents, and school families showed their support from the sidelines.

The ACS Alumni co-ed game featured the following alumni: Mariyah Coleman (’11), Maddie DeNick (’23), Shelby Einwechter (’21), Samuel Glancey (’23), Dakota (Hitchner) Keller (’17), Luke Johnson (’19), Moges Johnson (’23), Emily Kelley (’20), Cruz Lewis (’23), Cole Lewis (’22), Sydney Pearson (’21), Jacob Rosie (’21), Devin Tridente (’22), Chloe Vogel (’21), Cristen Winkel (’21), and Carly Witherow (’08). Several soccer team coaches also joined in on the game.

Homecoming 2023 concluded with a dance attended by students in grades 9-12. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated staff and volunteers who worked diligently to ensure the success of this event.
