The second-grade students of Mrs. Hockenberry and Mrs Harrison explored animal habitats. From polar bears and penguins to snakes and frogs, these young learners created imaginative three-dimensional dioramas in a winter science project.
These dioramas were completed by January 18 and are now on display in the hallway outside the 2nd-grade classrooms. Along with building these creative dioramas, students presented informative oral reports about their chosen animals and habitats.
“The students did an excellent job with their projects. I especially enjoyed watching them discover how an animal can be at risk when its habitat is disturbed or if something vital to them is harmed or taken away. God entrusted us with the care of animals, and it’s our responsibility to nurture and protect the environment to ensure their survival,” shared Mrs. Hockenberry.
